William McDonough, pioneer of the concepts of Cradle to Cradle Design™, co-author of Cradle to Cradle: Remaking The Way We Make Things and Chief Executive of McDonough Innovation, will attend the annual Sustainable Brands conference. The conference taking place in San Diego, CA from October 17-20, brings together and enables sustainability, brand, and innovation leaders to drive successful brand transformation. McDonough Innovation Chief Technical Officer, Aly Khalifa, and MBDC Managing Director, Peyton Laine, will also be in attendance.
On Monday, October 17, William McDonough will be delivering a keynote fireside chat, From Cradle to Cradle – Regrounding in First Principles on the Path to Remaking the Way We Make and Do Everything, alongside Sustainable Brands founder and Chief Executive, KoAnne Vikoren Skrzyniarz. The focus of the discussion will be on McDonough’s language and design frameworks surrounding Cradle to Cradle and the Circular Economy.
“April of 2002, twenty years ago, not only marks the year that Cradle to Cradle was published, but it also marks the year that I first met my dear friend, KoAnne,” says William McDonough. “I am delighted to reunite with her on the stage once again at SB’22 to discuss the tremendous potential that comes in framing design, engineering, business and finance challenges within a circular economy framework.”
We look forward to connecting with the global community of brand innovators at this year’s Sustainable Brands and hearing from purpose-driven, action-oriented visionaries to further collaborate and make a difference.
