William McDonough, pioneer of the concepts of Cradle to Cradle Design™ and co-founder of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, joined Amazon today in celebrating the launch of their ‘Climate Pledge Friendly’ badge which features Cradle to Cradle Certified™ products. The Cradle to Cradle Design framework stemmed from his 2002 book Cradle to Cradle: Remaking The Way We Make Things and the core principles of eliminating the concept of waste, using current solar income, and celebrating diversity — all still deeply relevant today.
